Vibie

Help & FAQ

Everything you need to know about uploading, hosting, and sharing on Vibie.

How does Vibie work?

Drop a folder containing an HTML file. We validate it, host it on Cloudflare R2, and give you a permanent URL like nani.vibie.page. If you only have a single HTML file, you can drop just that file — we'll treat it as the entry point automatically.

Do I need to know git or the command line?

No. The whole point of Vibie is that you don't. If you can drag a folder, you can deploy.

What files can I upload?

HTML, CSS, JS, images, fonts, JSON, simple media. No server code, no databases — Vibie is static hosting only.

What are the size limits?

Max 100MB per upload, 25MB per file, 500 files. Free accounts get 5 sites; Pro removes the cap.

Will my site be public?

Yes — sites are public by default. Flip the toggle in the drop zone to keep one unlisted (only people with the link can see it), and change it again any time from the site settings.

How does the popularity ranking work?

We sort by newest by default. Once you have a few sites you can switch to popular, which mixes likes and unique visitors with a time decay so new things can rise.

Is Vibie really free?

Yes, free forever. Pro launches later with higher limits — custom domains, more sites, more storage. Free stays free.

Can I bring my own domain?

Custom domains will be a Pro feature at launch. You buy the domain anywhere and point it to us with a CNAME.

What if someone abuses my URL?

Every site has a Report button on its detail page at vibie.io. We aim for a 24-hour turnaround on reports and remove anything that violates our acceptable use policy.

Can I delete my account and data?

Yes. Go to settings → account → delete. We start a 30-day grace period during which you can change your mind, then everything is permanently removed.
